Hi, my name is Erin.  I have been working at Bristles & Shears since September 2001.  When I received my license I started an apprenticeship with Dianne at Bristles (when I was a little girl she would cut and style my hair).  Come to think of it, I'm still little!  But I've grown a lot since then.

I started at the front desk, then shampoo assistant; out on the floor I learned haircuts, color, foiling, perms etc.  It was a great way to learn all aspects of our salon.  After a year apprenticeship I slowly started working out on the floor.  Now I've been styling hair for three years.  I love every minute of it!  It is fun!  Never boring, always changing.

I defiantly excelled in color, highlights, multi-dimensional color, formal hair (updo's) and precision haircuts.

I am constantly going to hair shows and hands on classes to keep up on the latest trends and fashions.  One of my extra certifications is for the BIO-ionic Retexturizing System, which is the most gentle hair straightener.  It can take fine, wavy, course curly hair to stick straight without excessive drying or damaging the hair.

I love what I do and I Love where I work!  The crew here at Bristles is like my second family.  We enjoy each other and we work well as a team.
