| In the August 2005 issue of the WASHINGTONIAN,   Bristles & Shears was named as both a "Top Salon" and also "Top Colorist".  Our Salon had more professional staff members certified by the American Board of Certified Haircolorists than any other salon in the entire Washington Metroploitan Area. According to the WASHINGTONIAN,   Bristles & Shears is not only a Top Colorist Salon but also a "Cut Above"! Our Clients agree with the WASHINGTONIAN!
|
In 2003, Bristles & Shears was listed as one of the "Top 20 Salons" in all of Northern Virginia.
We are the only Salon to ever win the coveted - "Best Service Busniess of the Year" award in Loudoun County.

True to our commitment to the community, Bristles & Shears has partnered with Locks of Love.
Locks of Love is a not-for-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under the age of 18 with medical hair loss.
Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure.  The prostheses provided by Locks of Love help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.
Bristles & Shears will cut/style your hair for free if you are donating your long tresses to Locks of Love.   Please call (703.421.9460) for more information and details and also to set up an appointment.
